Chris Jones 40-Yard Dash Time
Chris Jones ran the 40-yard dash in 5.03 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine in 2016. This was a very good time for someone who is 6’6 and weighs 298 pounds.
His draft combine is most known for a wardrobe malfunction while running the 40-yard dash, which was an embarrassing moment for the youngster. But he ended up silencing many people with his eventual play on the field for the Kansas City Chiefs.
What Makes Chris Jones So Talented?
Chiefs’ defensive lineman Chris Jones is one of the NFL’s most talented and disruptive forces. Currently, at 6’6″ and 310 pounds, he has the size and strength to be a dominant force against the run. But it’s his quickness and agility that make him such a nightmare for opposing offenses.
The Chiefs drafted Jones in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He immediately made an impact, recording 6.5 sacks in his Sophomore season. Since then, he’s only gotten better. In 2018, he had a career-high 15.5 sacks and was named a First-Team All-Pro.
Jones is now 28 years old and has established himself as one of the best defensive linemen in the league. He’s got all the physical tools to be a dominant force for years to come.
