Betting With Ben (2/24/23)

Yesterdays Bet

We were back in the win column last night after ole reliable Ducks against SOG cashes easily once again. I am begging you to hop on this train while we have the rest of the NHL season left; it is a cash cow. That brings our POD record to 7-3-1, and we went 2-2 on our Honorable mentions, so a profitable night all around.

Not a great slate tonight; save the coins for tomorrow. We do have a couple plays however for you today.

Pick Of The Day 2/24/23 (Record 7-3-1)

Islanders/Kings under 6 (-124)

Nothing like a good ole Islanders under to get some drink money for your Friday. I love the spot for the under here. Islanders are at home playing against another solid defensive team with above-average goaltending in the Kings. I think this is going to be a slow-paced, physical matchup tonight between non-conference foes.

Both trying to keep the playoff positioning alive, so I can see a slow-paced and good defensive game tonight. Islanders unders have been great for us all year long, so tonight is a great spot for it, with not a lot of great games on the board.

Honorable Mentions: Record (8-3)

Jacksonville ML (-115)

The Dolphins are home taking on Eastern Kentucky in a game where EKU is the better team on the floor. However, this line is telling me that Jacksonville is going to play up tonight in front of their home crowd. I’ve rode Jacksonville a lot last year, and they were great for me, but this year, not so much. I like the spot for them tonight to get a big home win with this line movement in their favor.

Habs/Flyers over 6 (-122)

This game features 2 bottom-dwelling teams with not much to play for other than getting a better draft spot. Both teams have very porous defenses and goaltending, and when I see a game like this with a capable offense as well, I love the over, especially at this price at 6. I think it’s a good look and worth a unit or maybe as a parlay piece as well.

Good luck tonight! Tomorrow is a much bigger and better slate, so he responsible with the units tonight and root for no goals in the Islanders/Kings game!
