Baseball Is Back!
The MLB is officially back, and the grind has started. You gotta love betting on the MLB. Games every day, having to look into the matchups, the players, the splits, the weather, etc. There is a lot to keep track of and so many different ways to bet. Spread total, team total, first 5, NRFI, YRFI, and player props. It’s a great time of the year. And I am here to get you through it! Without further adieu, let’s jump into it!
Pick Of The Day: Record 18-15-2
Sabres/ Rangers over 6.5 (-130)
I know the MLB is back, but when you have a terrific matchup of 2 great teams here, you simply can’t ignore it. The Sabres are right in the mix of the playoff hunt, while the Rangers are comfortably in. I think the Sabres want to play fast and furious tonight, and we know they are very susceptible to giving up goals as well. I like the over 6.5 in this one. Can see this on being 3-3 going into OT.
Honorable Mentions: 32-20-1
Not a great showing for the honorable mentions last time out. But that’s ok. We will bounce back tonight:
Mets TT over 3.5 (-120): Mets Team Totals last year were putting food on the table for a while. With this number set at 3.5 at this value, I really like it. Going against a subpar pitcher in Luzardo, I think the Mets are able to get to him early and then beat up on the Marlins bullpen like they did yesterday and score at least four here pretty easily.
Canucks ML + 108: The Canucks have actually been playing some good hockey lately. And the reason I’m taking their ML over here is I love the value of the Canucks on the ML. On home ice, seems like a short line to me, and the Flames are a pretty solid defensive team, but I think they’ll struggle getting some goals tonight. I think the fast pace that the Canucks play matches up well with the Flames, and I like the + odds here.
Mariners TT over 4 (-110): We have a Guardians team that is sending out Hunter Gaddis, making his 3rd career start today. He has an 18.41 ERA and has given up 15 ER in just over 7 IPs in his career. I think the Mariners get to him early and often and easily get over this 4 spot. Love the value here and tale the Guardian’s offense and Robbie Ray out of play.
