Monday Blues

Welp after a weekend of some terrific March Madness games, we find ourselves here on a lowly Monday with only a few NHL and NBA games to bet on today. Seeing as I never bet on the NBA, we got a couple of NHL plays on the ice tonight and a little tip. They’re games you want to set and forget and not watch.

Pick Of The Day: Record 17-14-1

Kraken/ Wild under 6

I see a lot of unders on this slate tonight, and this one stood out to me as my favorite. Both of these teams are very defensive-oriented, and the Wild especially has been a great unders team as defense is their focus. I think this will be a very sluggish and low-scoring game tonight, as it has a lot in terms of playoff implications.

If you’re really feeling dangerous, you can grab this at 5.5 at + money, but I think at 6 (-120) is also good value, and you get the push in case there is an empty netter or something.

This is a play I’m setting and not watching and checking the score later to hopefully see a 3-1 or 3-2 type of game.

Honorable Mentions: Record 28-17

We continue to keep our honorable mentions rolling as we hit 2/3 last time with Texas and Miami. Only two more plays tonight that I like.

Devils/Islanders ov 5.5 (-135): Earlier this year, I would’ve had this a huge under, but recently, Islandes games have been going over. We know the Devils have the ability to put the puck in the net as well, and I think we see some goals flying in this game. Especially after the Islanders got shut out against the Sabres a couple of nights ago.

Oilers/Coyotes und 7 (-110): This one could be dangerous with a total set so high I’m going with the under here. The Coyotes played an OT game last night against the Avs, and I just don’t think they’ll be able to contribute much to the over here. The Oilers could put in at least 4/5, but I don’t see the Coyotes scoring more than 2 tonight. I like the under here, but not my most confident play
