Happy Friday, folks! We had a great set of games for March Madness yesterday, and we have another great slate tonight! No better way to start your weekend than with the sweet 16! Let’s get into it!
Pick Of The Day: Record 16-14
Creighton – 9.5
The magic run for Princeton is going to end tonight. Cinderella stories always usually end in the sweet 16. And now Princeton runs into a red-hot and very good Creighton Blue Jays team. Creighton is a team that I think flew way under the radar and has a decent chance to upset Alabama if they were both to advance.
I think Creighton comes out and absolutely rolls tonight. The clock strikes midnight on this Cinderella story, and Princeton is going to turn back into a pumpkin tonight. I think Kalkbrenner dominates inside and defensively they give Princeton fits. I like Creighton to roll into the elite 8 tonight.
Honorable Mentions: 26-16
Went 3-0 on our last set of honorable mentions. These have been hitting at a great rate recently. Let’s stay hot!
Alabama – 7.5: I see a lot of people on the Aztecs tonight, but the Aztecs have not run into a team of Alabama’s caliber yet. I think Alabama runs them tonight, as they’re the better team up and down the court.
Texas – 3.5: I love Texas at this number. They’re the better team in this matchup. Xavier has been playing well recently, but they’re no match for Texas right now. Give me the Longhorns in this one.
Miami + 8: I love both of these teams so hard to pick a side. 8 points is a lot for Miami, however. While I think Houston will ultimately win this game, I think Miami will cover. They are too well-coached and too well-balanced to get blown out, even against a great Houston team
